Well during this messages a got a word from God about 2010 for my life. I didn’t realize that it was the word for me in 2010 until one night it came to me again and instead of just the word it was a phrase. So with this phrase floating on my head I began to pray about it. I have gotten 3 confirmations that this is my word for 2010.

Relationships

Relationships  was the word I receive and even though it is a broad word. I will not take it lightly. It says in Ephesians 5:15-16 Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

I took this as be careful who I let poor into my life, who i let affect me, choosing good strong friends. But also not looking at who I can be poring into.

When I see a relationship I see opportunity.

Some of you may have seen the word relationship and first thought of love, or maybe like a dating relationship. Well maybe that will come to this year but right now I’m going to focus at the task in hand and build closer and better friendship, also start poring out  into peoples lives trying to make the most of ever opportunity

Now some of you may see this as also you vision for 2010 I would just encourage you to seek it out .

Here are a some things that have been monumental in my life in 2009:

Well first off the biggest event of my year would be my move to Memphis. It has been a great move God has really been working a lot of things in my life since I have move. My new church family is nothing short of amazing. I work (it never feels like work) with a group of wonderful individuals I couldn’t ask for a better job…

1. Another thing that has happen this year, is  being part of an amazing internship  at the church called Damascus Road. It taught me a lot about being a leader and is currently sharpening those skills.
2. Had a great time doing Kid Life Camp this summer, it was a blast didn’t get a lot of sleep but seeing the how much fun those kids had, it was totally worth it. Also meet some great friends there, and I can’t forget I got to hang with A-Roth which is always a blast.
3. Also various memories  in Real Life there are just so many i couldn’t type them all..

But I miss all my Conway , Little Rock, and Bryant friends. But I love all you guys in Memphis and i’m glad i’m part of the family . Here is to a Great 2010!

I don’t care what you say i’m signing back up for Jott, just becuase it is the only consistent way I can keep up with my blog. (I know AJ will be happy that i’m going to keep up with it more).

Well now that’s, that on to the blog:

What is going on…………things never seem to happen as we planned them, but I think it’s God’s way of showing us who really is in charge, but i love him never the less. I think sometimes we get caught up in our own selfish desires and we want what’s best for us, for me, for I. When maybe sometime if you feel like jumping off your “me, myself, and I” horse we could really get God’s work accomplished. So I challenge you guys to try to go out of your way and do something selfless.
